How'd Ya Like That Smoothie??





This week Ms. Johnson from UIC's nutrition and health outreach program visited MCA with something new....smoothies.  During her bi-monthly visits she teaches our 7th grade students about healthy eating.  For the past two sessions she has being giving food demonstrations and showing our students how to make healthy snacks at home with products available to them.

So what did you think? Did you like the smoothies Ms. Johnson let you try? Is this something you would try at home? What would you put in yours?

  2. I think that the smoothie was great. I really liked that is was healthly and with no sugar. Now i now we can make tasty smoothies wait healthy produce.

  3. I think that the smoothies were decent. Yes this is something that I would try at home. In mine I would put some 0 calorie Splenda in the smootjie to make it taste better.

  4. I liked the smoothies, but there was one that was not very good but the rest I enjoy and Iwould try it at home.

  5. What I think about that smoothie was to me that smoothie was nasty.It was healthy for you but I didnt like it becase it had strawberry and blueberry in it and I dont eat those.

  6. I liked the first one i thought it was good but the other ones wernt that good.I would put bananas,and strawberries in my smoothie.

  7. I think that most of the smoothies that Ms.Johnson made were not very good. But, about two of them were actually ok. I would try this at home, but instead I would put more of the things that I like in it. I would put apples, grapes,frozen yogurt, and some juice in it.

  8. I like some of the smoothies she had made & I would make this at home. the thing I would add would be SUGAR!!!

  9. The smoothies was good ,but i would add a littel bit of sugar ,but no to much the. yogurt was nasty i would try this at home and add other types of food.
